“Dead Guilty”
By Richard Harris
Tues 10th – Sat 14th March 2009
When John Haddrell dies of a heart attack at the wheel of his car, the woman at his side is not his wife Margaret but his lover, Julia. Recovering from her injuries she sustained in the crash, Julia is visited by Margaret, who apparently knows nothing of the affair. “Dead Guilty” is a sinister thriller from the pen of Richard Harris who also wrote “Stepping Out” and “Outside Edge”.
The Spring production will be directed by Joe Hackett, one of our talented and enthusiastic student members who is currently studying for his A levels and is looking for a place in Drama School to start next September. He has already directed plays at school and the SJP committee was very impressed with his plans for this production. He will have the support and be assisted by Cathy Dean, and experienced director, who also happens to be Joe’s Mum. We are very excited about this play and have high hopes for the outcome.

Quiz evening
This went very well and was enjoyed by all who took part. The questions were set by John K and Martin entirely on Theatrical matters, fortunately with multiple choice answers! The Ploughman's Supper was provided by Nora, with Pat & Karen's help. The winning team was "The Directors" which comprised of Pam, Chris, Joe and Pip.
